CRM for trades, set up around how you work
A CRM for tradesmen only works if it fits the trade, so we pick a system that fits yours and configure quotes, jobs, reminders and invoices to run from one place, with the set-up priced before we start. Among trade job management tools with a per-user price on their own site, the median is £24 a month.

What we set up for your trade business
No two trades run a job the same way, so your price names the parts of this list your own set-up will include.
Picking the system
We compare the job management tools that suit your trade, the size of your team and your accounts package, and recommend one on how it handles your working day.
Quote templates
Your labour rates, materials and standard line items loaded so a quote can leave your phone at the end of a site visit, then be chased automatically if it goes quiet.
Jobs and the diary
A schedule showing who is where, with job sheets, photos and notes attached, so the office and the van are looking at the same information.
Reminders that bring work back
Automatic nudges for unanswered quotes, annual service dates and overdue invoices, so repeat work and cash flow no longer rely on someone remembering.
Invoices and your accounts
Invoices raised from the finished job and synced to Xero or QuickBooks, with the CIS and VAT settings matched to how your business is registered.
Your customer history
Names, addresses and past jobs brought across from spreadsheets, phone contacts or an old app and tidied up, so nothing from previous work is lost.

How these figures were read, and how to cite them
Every row is a verbatim sentence read from the named source's own page through our fetch service on the date shown, hash-pinned to the stored read (the sha of the page's visible text; the raw page is mirrored to R2). 10 of the 49 named sources that could be read published a usable figure; 39 published none and are recorded as not published, never filled in; 10 could not be read (blocked, dead or unreachable) and count nowhere. The headline figures (median, minimum, maximum, quartiles) are over ONE figure per source in GBP (a source's median where its page yielded several accepted sentences), so N counts sources, never sentences; 214 candidate sentence(s) were refused by a reviewer with the reason recorded. Derivation as chartered: one row per platform serving GB, each cell read from the VENDOR'S OWN page: the trades it names, the modules it ships, whether it applies VAT, the construction Domestic Reverse Charge and CIS deductions, which statutory certificates it generates (CP12/LGSR, EICR, MEIWC, F-Gas, OFTEC), which accounting packages it syncs to and whether Xero's own app store confirms it, whether it publishes a price at all, and its billing unit (per user, per job, per seat band, flat). The derivation nobody publishes is the COVERAGE MAP across all of them: how many platforms handle CIS, how many generate a Gas Safe record, how many bill per user against per job, and which combinations exist at each price band - the directories rank by review count and never once ask whether the software can issue a CP12

The process
- Tell us your trade, how many of you are on the tools or in the office, and what you use to run jobs at the moment.
- We follow how a job moves from first call to paid invoice, then send a fixed set-up price listing exactly what we will configure.
- Your call entirely. Say the word and we book the set-up around your quieter days; say no and that is the end of it.
The team that runs this site also does the work it quotes for. It carries no advertising, no sponsored placement and no affiliate links, and no provider in the table has paid to be there or can pay to be removed. Every figure is read from the named provider's own public page on the date shown and is what that provider advertises, not a quote for your job. Prices move; check the source before you rely on a row.
Straight answers
How much does a CRM for trades cost?
Across the trade CRM and job management tools showing a price, the median per-user subscription is £24 a month and the middle half run from £10 to £53.74; flat monthly plans are counted apart. Only 10 of the 49 providers we read show a price at all. That is the software company's own subscription; our set-up price is separate and fixed once we understand your business.(UK Trades CRM Coverage Board)
What do you need to know before pricing the set-up?
Your trade, how many people will use the system, whether there is software you want to keep, and which accounts package you use. A rough count of the customers and past jobs to bring across helps as well.
Will my details go to software sellers or other firms?
No. Your enquiry stays with us from the first reply to the finished set-up, as we run this site and do the configuration. Nothing you send is handed to a software company, a lead buyer or anybody else.
How soon could we be running jobs from it?
A sole trader moving off paper or spreadsheets can usually be quoting from the new system in a few weeks. A firm running several vans and an office, with years of records to move, needs longer, so your price sets the work out stage by stage.
Do you set up systems for trades outside my area?
Yes, anywhere in the UK. Configuration and training happen over calls and screen shares, which means they fit around your jobs wherever you work.
